Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MetalCut Pro LLC ("MetalCut Pro", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and application at metalcutpro.com.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the Services:

• Account information — your email address and password when you register
• Building configuration data — the specs, dimensions, and settings you enter into the app to generate cut lists and estimates
• Usage data — basic technical information such as browser type and session activity, used solely to keep the app running correctly
• Manufacturer Trial requests — when you submit a request through our website to evaluate MetalCut Pro under our Manufacturer Trial program, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, job role, and any additional information you choose to provide. This is used to verify eligibility and communicate about your trial.
• Public company information (Manufacturer Trial only) — for accounts activated through our Manufacturer Trial program, we may pre-populate account settings (such as panel system, frame specifications, and color preferences) based on publicly available information about your company, including your website, public catalogs, and industry directories. This is solely to improve your initial experience. You can modify all settings at any time.
• Promo code usage — when you activate an account using a promo code or invitation link, we record which code was used to enable account-specific trial parameters and to measure program performance. This information is internal and not shared externally.

We do not collect payment card details (these are handled by our payment processor) or any sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide through account registration, support requests, or Manufacturer Trial requests.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide access to the MetalCut Pro application and its features
• Send account-related emails such as email confirmation and password reset
• Verify eligibility for the Manufacturer Trial program
• Send program-related communications, including trial status updates, trial expiration notices, and follow-ups about the Manufacturer Trial program
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the reliability and performance of the Services

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Services.

Cookies & Tracking

MetalCut Pro does not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies.

Our public website (metalcutpro.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and whether the contact form is sent. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and processes your IP address and basic device and browser information on our behalf. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we never send your name, email address, or message to Google Analytics.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics does not load. You can also opt out at any time with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The application may use essential session cookies strictly necessary to keep you logged in and maintain your session while using the app. These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted infrastructure providers (such as hosting, authentication, and website analytics services) that process data solely on our behalf to operate the Services
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Account access is protected by email confirmation.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your account and configuration data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.

If you submit a Manufacturer Trial request and the trial is not activated (either because you decided not to proceed or because we determined the request did not meet eligibility criteria), we may retain your contact information for up to 12 months for potential follow-up or re-evaluation. You may request deletion of this information at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.

Children's Privacy

MetalCut Pro is intended for use by business professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
